Oarsman55 Posted August 12, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Just a couple of quickies - have done a search, but can't find this information: before deciding whether to buy a drinks package, can anyone tell me the quantity of wine poured as a drink in the bars, please (over here we do it in centilitres, but I can convert:)). Plus, do all the bars serve wine, as that's all we drink. Cheers! Peter
suzzek Posted August 12, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2011 Can't tell you the quantity poured, but yes, all the bars serve wine. That is all I drink, for the most part and I was able to get wine everywhere on the ship. Cheers!:D
Gonzo70 Posted August 12, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2011 The only bar without wine would be the Molecular Bar. The exact quantity of the pour may very from server to server.

I was on a Premium package so I didn't care....but if I had been paying per glass I would have been furious........
SusieV Posted August 12, 2011 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2011 I've never felt like I got a short pour with wine- a normal pour is around 4oz I believe.
Lsimon Posted August 12, 2011 #6 Share Posted August 12, 2011 All the bars (except the Molecular bar as pointed out above) do have wine but some have a very small selection and very few have a real nice selection. Pours vary and I've read some reports of large pours and some of small measured pours. Several years ago the dining room wine by the glass list specifically indicated "6 oz/187 ml" but that language was removed a year or two ago. We have ordered a bottle of wine from the dining room wine list in one of the bars but did so with a little advance notice to the bartender. They'll do this for you but I'm not sure how quickly it can be retrieved if you order when the bartenders are busy with a crowded bar. I presume that you could take the unfinished portion of the bottle with you to the dining room or your cabin or have it held for later if needed.
