Saint John Photography Tour

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever done this tour? It's being offered by Carnival.

Was it in a mini-van? Did you like it?

If you are not looking for professional photography advice, there are excellent photographic opportunities right off ship in Trinity Royal Historic District - especially the exterior / interior of churches and old buildings.

Thanks...

We aren't really looking for photography advice. It just seems that this tour would be more scenic...and in a mini-van (not a bus).

I did this St John Photo Tour through Carnival about 3 years ago. From what I remember we had a small group because we all fit in one van. The guy leading the group was a professional photographer. They mainly drove you around to different spots in St. John, like the City Market, Reversing Falls, an Old Cemetery, and a few other places and he would tell you the best way to compose your photographs. You can use any kind of camera because he really just told you a little about composition. It was an okay tour, he was very nice and we had beautiful weather that day and a nice group of people on our tour. You don't really stay at any spot too long, just enough for everyone to take their pictures.

Here are a few pictures from the tour:
