Butchart Gardens - Night excursion

Had a few questions - our ship is in Victoria B.C. from 6pm-midnight on a Saturday night.

 

Has anyone done the Butchart Garden tours in evenings? Butchart is the one excursion we are considering in Victoria, but the Garden's website says it closes at 9pm - does anyone know if it stays later for the ship excursions or there is basically no time to actually see the Gardens on these evening tours?

 

Is the Garden tour as spectacular at night as in the daytime? We haven't been there in 20+ years but recall it being an amazing place to visit.

it stays open later when ships are in town. it's very impressive at night (there are a lot of photos on Google)
