MSC is charging a fuel charge?

I went on Travelocity tonight to book Oct 1, 2012 on MSC Lirica, and they are charging $150 per person fuel surcharge on the booking which really surprised me, as it seems extremely high. I did not think any cruise lines were charging a fuel surcharge at this time? $300 for 7 days while other cruise lines are not charging a fuel surcharge, really has me thinking I will not be taking this MSC Lirica cruise, it is just to expensive.

 

Has anyone else run into this with MSC? Can you please confirm.

Yes, we were charged an extra $200 per person, but that is for a 19day cruise.
