Kenito Posted August 18, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 18, 2011 We were aware of the dry dock in January... we will be on the Spirit in March on one of the last San Diego sailings. So we will see some of the changes before they see them down-under. Bet they don't change the menu for us, (although I'd like to find out what a "flat white" is) and hope the electrical plugs don't change. We'll miss Carnival in San Diego... can't believe one of the best ports on the Pacific Coast will be without a Carnival ship, or that they want us to go to San Pedro. mr jamms Posted August 18, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 18, 2011 A flat white is a coffee, a double shot of espresso with an equal amount of milk and the dense foam from the middle of the steamed milk. It's like a Cappuccino but with less foam. you need really freshly roasted beans to make a good one as it's less milk then most other coffee drinks.
