Snorkel gear and drinks at Nachi-Cocum

We will be at Nachi-Cocum on 10-21-11. I saw that you could do a snorkel tour, but I was wondering if they have snorkel gear that you could just rent... Should we bring our own?

 

We plan to parasail there as well so we don't want to spend a lot of money on another tour, but would love to snorkel.

 

I have read many great things about Nachi-Cocum. Any specialty drink suggestions for us adults? Any certain drinks that my 12 yo DS would like besides soda?

Your youngster will likely enjoy virgin Pina Coladas or strawberry daquaris.

 

If you take the snorkel excursion they will have gear for you; there is a shop there that rents foam beach mats for floating that may have snorkel gear if you just want to snorkel near the pier.

 

The dirty monkee seemed to be a favorite for my spouse -they also have a good selection of Mexican beer (I like XX Amber if you are buying! ;)).

We tried to make Dirty Monkeys at home with this formula, but they just were not as good (I think the absense of Mexican sun and sand affects the taste :rolleyes:):

 

1 oz rum

1 oz creme de bananes

1 oz creme de cacao

1 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur

2 scoops vanilla ice cream or milk
