Any one ever stayed at Marriott Biscayne Bay

My GF and I are about to leave (4/30) on the Voyager for the E. Carib.

 

We would be interested in thoughts from anyone who has stayed at that hotel. We opted for the transfer from the hotel to the pier. Does anyone know if the transfer is via local shuttles that run between the hotels, or if it is the company van?

I would take a cab if I were you. It is a short cab ride to the pier. I can't remember the exact fare, but I am sure someone else will remember. There is nothing worse than being all ready to go and then to have to wait on a shuttle and other people. But that is just my opinion.

the shuttles don't even start from the hotel until noon I think. Hope you didn't pay for it. Take a cab at 10:30.

Get your $$$ back from the transfers. They will make you wait for their bus. Take a taxi, no question.

We used the hotel shuttle in February. When we checked in the receptionist asked us what time we wanted to leave the hotel in the morning, I think the earliest departure was 10a.m. and then every 30 minutes after that. We would certainly use it again.
