Carnival Corp. profits for the qtr ending 6/30/ 11 are down 23% to .23 from .32/share in the year ago qtr. After a slow start (May, June and July, the cruise lines have been sold out in Aug. and Sept. Once the word gets out for the spectacular scenery in Alaska, the cruise ships have filled up.
