Need to re-book everything!

Recommended Posts

Question for those who've done the Allure:

We were booked (for a year!) and had all our dining and entertainment scheduled (perfectly!) then had to cancel the cruise due to dh health issues. Last week found out we could actually go so re-booked the cruise and are now leaving in 2 weeks.

HOWEVER, the ship is almost full and most reservations are unavailable (even decent times for MTD) so...assuming we can work on the sympathies of those we need to talk to want to approach, immediately upon boarding, Giovanni's, Samba Grill, Adaggio Maitre D' and entertainment people.

Need to know:

Read on here that for show reservations go to Studio B on deck 4 but RCL said go to Guest Relations...which is the place?

Was able to book Samba Grill but it's 1/2 hour earlier than the rest of our group...think they'll be flexible?

What deck do we go to for MTD reservations?

Thanks so much for your help...excited to reclaim this adventure!:p

Last month on the Allure, show reservations were at Studio B from 11:30 - 3:15 and in Entertainment Place from 5:15 - 7.

They do hold back reservations for booking on board.

Go to the restaurants to make reservations. You can also do it on the TV from your stateroom.

Thanks...actually assume that since there's nothing available online now there won't be on the tv once onboard?

Also, hoping to get the Maitre D' at each dining venue to explain our situation and see if they can work with us.

What deck for Adaggio, does anyone know?

Want to get there early, remember on the Epic the lines were HUGE!

You shouldn't assume that because reservations can no longer be booked on line, that there won't be reservations available when you board the ship, As others have indicated, they normally hold back a certain percentage of reservations for those who can only book once they board the ship. I have heard the number 20% bandied about but am not certain of the percentage. I don't think you will need to gain their sympathy to get the reservations you need.:) Go to Guest Services once you board the ship and request their advice and assistance.

guest services line will be very long embarkation day and personally I don't think they can help and will only tell you to go to studio B and the resturants. They hear a zillion excuses and really have no sympathy for sob stories, nor can they really help with reservations. IMHO, be at studio B as soon as they open, actually 1/2 hr earlier and have the list of times, and shows you want to get in. They do hold back reservations for booking on board. After that, go to each resturant you want to book and get that done to align with your shows.

If you can't book a show, you can wait in line (get in line about 45 minutes early) and normally you can get into most shows once everyone is seated (there is normally extra seats), except for the comedy shows.
