Red Hook (Brooklyn) Food Vendors?

Hi to All Foodies...

 

We are leaving 9/17 from Red Hook and I heard about a group of Food Vendors @ the Recreational Area. I was hoping to stop by and try their food after I check-in on board ship. Mapquested it and it is not far, Anybody got some info, please.

Probably NOT........but as a chef, playing it safe ain't in our nature. I have tried food in many countries....in many questionable places.......never an issue in the past, hopefully not in our country :-)

Relax and enjoy! I do not believe that you will run into any trouble during the day. There are always lots of regular working folks around just trying to do their jobs.
