Sunshine424 Posted August 23, 2011 #1 Share Posted August 23, 2011 For those who sailed with children with Epi Pens - we leave this week. I haven't traveled with one yet as DD (4) only got hers this spring. I keep it in the box that has the pharmacy sticker on it. Do I need a script or a letter from my DD's doctor we leave this week. I travel often with a friend who carries one. She just keeps it in her purse, never had any trouble or had anyone ask to see the script.
crusinmama06 Posted August 23, 2011 #3 Share Posted August 23, 2011 That's good enough. When my daughter was going through her seizures I was carrying vials of diazepam and syringes. All meds were in the original bottles. We went through numerous scanners on numerous cruises and airports and were never stopped. Ironically enough - on this last cruise - we were pulled aside and all of our benedryl and children's motrin and tylenol was scanned (Washington Airport). We didn't have our seizure meds this time. All of those years of traveling with syringes - and now they scan my benedryl. ;)

That is good then - I keep them in the box that the pharmacy gave me which has the pharmacy script sticker right on it.
