Back to Back on the Dream

Has anyone done a recent back to back cruise on the Disney Dream? We're doing a back to back starting on Sunday Aug. 28th and just wanted to know what to expect.

They will know, they will tell you, to meet at a point and be one of the last people off the ship, you have to disembark, go through customs and then go up to the arrivals lounge, when all people are confirmed off the 1st cruise, then they switch the computers to the next cruise, and you can check in, stay near the concierge area, they will call you and you can re board.

You will have an empty ship. You maybe told to use an area like cove cafe, (for kids as well) and there might be food there.

Most ships services are suspended during this time.

If you have your own same room you can keep your luggage in it, if you change room they will try to make that up asap.

Whilst things like Aquaduck will not be in use, you near embarkation time can queue up and be first to ride.

Bring a swimming costume out through first disembarkation as they might not allow you to your room.

Also this time is good to use laundry, but its a shame to miss an empty ship, last night might be a good time for laundry as most people have their luggage out.

You can use that room until they start embarkation and then you are asked not to go under the tape lines that they put up until all staterooms are ready.

Enjoy, and I have a B2B on the Fantasy next year.....

Thanks for the info! We're really looking forward to this trip. We've been on 10+ crusies and 3 previous on Disney but never back to back. We also can't wait for Fantasy next year. We're already booked as well and it may be on the 18th with you (can't remember which week we're going). Thanks again!
