Using skype on board

Things such as Skype use too much bandwidth and they are not allowed -- some cruisers have reported being able to make limited voice contact, but not the full range of Skype features. If the computer staff are made aware of an account trying to use Skype, they can block the entire account.

I used skype on the Connie in March. I used my Apple Touch so I had no picture. I usually did it by the Cafe Al Bacio on deck 5. I didn't have a problem and had a nice conversation with the family. This was done on a sea day at about 11.30am.I spoke to the staff and they said it would be easier to use on a port day when less people are using the internet.
