Then on the 30th. we head to Jacksonville to the Gator Bowl to see our MSU Dawgs play Lori`s MSU Wolverines on New Year`s Day!!!!

 

YAY, one MSU team is going to win(sorry Lori) hope it`s mine.. But win, lose or draw I am so there.:)

 

 

 

Ok Bobbie, your MSU can beat Michigan in the Gator bowl because I just figured out that it's Michigan ( as in the University of Michigan Wolverines) not MSU ( Michigan State Spartans). My MSU is playing Alabama in the Capital One Bowl. Since I don't like Michigan, I'll be rooting for your MSU!!! Just don't tell my nephew who goes to Michigan:D

We only live 17 miles from the State line so all our friends and neighbors (with the exception of a very few) are Alabama fans.:(

 

 

 

Why, only because they win. We have close friends who both are Alumnis of MSU and are Alabama fans..

 

How pitiful is that???

 

We stick with Ms State through thick or thin. My DH, DD, DS, DGD, & DDIL are all Alumnis and so we stay true to the University.

Good evening SMDers. I'm am tired, tired, tired.

Just back from the Spurs season ticket party. It was just alright, not as good as years past. Although it was held at six Flags, Fiesta Texas and they had a really great christmas show.

Well tomorrow morning we fly out to FLL and set sail on monday. This one really came up on me fast. I didn't even start packing until one this afternoon. Now that its done, so am I. Hope I have everything.

I hope that ya'll have a great week and I will be thinking about all of ya and wishing you were there. Until next week.

Good morning, SMDers! Thank you so much for the birthday wishes. We had a ball yesterday and I shall copy and past from the Looney thread as I am tired of typing.

We had a great day yesterday. The flea and farmers market was unbelievable. Wow what produce they have. $1.75 for 5 lbs of red potatoes, cukes 5 for a $1, seedless watermellon 1 for $2 or 3 for $5 and it goes on and on. We bought a 1/2 bushel of the sugar sweet red navel oranges. OMG are they wonderful, I can't wait to juice them. YUM!

 

From the market we went to the Villages Spanish Plains Town Square where they is shopping and dinning everywhere. We went to a mexican rest. and I had a beer, Kenny a coke and we had chips with salsa and cheese dip. The bill was $6. Then we hit a sports bar and they had 2 for 1 specials. I had 2 beers, Kenny had 2 screwdrivers and the bill was $7. We cold not decide what to eat or rather I could not decide so we came home and ordered Pizza. The best I have tasted in a long time. NY style. I decided that I wanted to do dinner today instead.

 

So we are going to the Ocala mall which is 25 miles from here and do some shopping for my DGS in Virginia so I can mail it and then we are going to Harry's Seafood Bar and Grill for dinner. It is a cajun place which I love so in others words we have really had a blast this weekend.

 

I think it was 74 here yesterday but we have a cold front moving in today and it is suppose to be 64 then tomorrow 50. Burr I am going nowhere tomorrow.lol

Rich, have a super time and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND WEST!!!! Party hardy as you only have to crawl back to the cabin.lol

Off to get motivated so we can leave for Ocala.

Just thought I'd share my exciting news

I bought some River Dance Tix night before last, for this May....

I hope front row Balcony Box seats are ok.

But that was the only front row seating I could get this time around.

The other two times we went, we were front row, main floor,

first time off to the side a bit, second, front and center.

That was hard on the neck for sure.

Some people will read this 3 times.

Basically it's just a spot for people to get together and discuss the details.

Thats what CC is for. It could be confusing for others not on FB if things get discussed and decided on if it happens on FB instead of here. Of course on FB, you can say what ya want when ya want, and that is not the truth about CC, is it!? lol

News on the hand that will not get well. I went to the Dr. today to see what the heck is going on.

 

Was told that there are two strikes against me, # 1 thyroid, and # 2 my age....:eek::D:D

 

Everything looks good and I have to be more patient so he said. Patience is not my strong point.. lol

 

It has after all been 3 months since surgery.

 

Anyway he did put a removable cast on my hand and I will be wearing that for 6 weeks.

 

Hopefully that is going to help..I think it does feel some better. I have been wearing it for about 8 hours.

Sorry I have been MIA. It was a very busy week for us. Nina had her finals, then graduation, then a x-mas party with katies girl scout troop. Busy on the weekend too. But today I am trying to catch up.

I need to find a link to the hotel you guys are talking about. I will look for it later. As far as it being non smoking, most hotels are so it's fine. As lonmg as I can smoke outside it's fine. And who knows, maybe by then I won't be smoking. Ya never know!
