What a busy bunch of chatters! I hope everybody had a lovely holiday and Congrats to Andy and Mimi!!

California was wet wetter and wettest. They broke all rain records while we were there. But is was nice to get away and forget drama for a while never the less.

Christmas was very quiet, New Years not so much. We looked after the girls so Hellchild and his fiance`could go out for dinner and then return to their condo to pack for their big move New years Morning. Wow I forgot how jacked up kids get on hot cocoa and marshmallows :eek:

Anyways it was fun watching them push their dolly baby strollers around the house like a couple of seasoned old NASCAR drivers.

NASCAR Ahhhh now we are talking sports!!!

I don't understand/like football. But I do like to look at the players cute bums :o

Our carpet came so now all we have left to do re: renos on the main floor is lay the carpet in the media room, and the staircase,buy a new sofa for the living room, and some sort of bed arrangement for the playroom. I'm thinking bunk beds.

Rich I will put my nose to the grindstone and have a group thing put together for the Caymans by the end of the month.

In the meantime I just am stoked to say

60 MORE WEEKS UNTIL WE ARE ALL LIVING OUR DREAM ON THE MAGIC!!!

AND your point is????????I remember a team called the Buffalo Bills that always seemed to be the best and was always in the Superbowl and never won. That was while I was in Atlanta. I went to a store and was talking sports to the guy at the counter and mentioned the Bills on how sad they were going to take up the boob tube again this year so we would have another crappy game. Turned around and there they were half of the Bills standing behind me looking way down at me as I smiled and said I guess I can't get a picture with you guys right? They said sure and picked me up like I was grass. My ex hubby has that picture and won't seem to give it back to me. That jerk. However, they took it all in stride and laughed with me. :eek:

So that was my story and Marie you are right I love a great game and this year we have a great bar to go to.

Finished paying my bills and wondered why I have not received a Comcast bill so I looked at their website and they said next bill due 2/17. Yea cha ching Casino money.

we watched NASCAR in the sports bar on the Miracle back in 2009. It was a blast and so very decadent

I run a NASCAR pool here at home, and it was quite refreshing to see I wasn't the only one recording stats and points lol.. It was very cool to see all the different cars repesented by racing shirts too. I forgot you like Dale jr cathy. My heart belongs to denny hamlin. tried to get my son Danny to change his name to Denny, but he wouldn't hear of it.

Andrea, we have a day bed with a pull out bed that stores underneath it in our guest room. I'd be a nervous grandma with bunk beds, although my DGD was up the ladder on her brothers at age 1!

you all crack me up with the football smack--I could care less about the game, except for a mild interest in Michigan State winning and University of Michigan losing :D

Spent some time today getting organized for the Matey's cruise. I can only handle one at a time, I keep getting this cruise and that one mixed up!

Bummed that I have to go back to work tomorrow, but need to pay for these cruises!! Have a great week!

So exciting Marie!! I learned my lesson on the dream:eek:. The only thing I am packing extra for the mateys is 3 prizes (cute though) and t-shirts!! I sure wish we could have gone with you guys:(! I will be so jealous:o, and sad when you leave without me:(! But I know you are going to have such a great time:D. We are going to want pictures ya know, so don't forget the camera! :cool:

We survived our frozen pipes. Since we have our own well I always have water available for emergencies. ;) (never know what will break) We are like kids over summer..we forget what we learned during the winter. :o

That seems to be the last thing that I say to my DH in the Wintertime as we go off to bed, "Is the water dripping?".:p

Janet - its a cool one here today also. It was only 32 this morning, but warmed up to 55 now.

OK, ya talk about Mich and Mich St, but I'm for TCU. And yes they are getting ripped off at a chance for the national championship. Winning all your games the entire season only to be told your not good enough for the national title. boooooooooooo. That why they need a playoff system. Anyway, since West and Marie are both from Oregon, I will be cheering for the Ducks. And, as ya'll know that I am a die hard Dallas Cowboy fan and since they will not be in the playoffs, I have to go with another team. Who is it going to be:confused:.

Marie - I remember all the stuff ya'll had for the Dream cruise and the Looneys are all in for a BIG surprize. I know that come the day to leave for the cruise, you will be ready hours before you have to be!

(and yes, the Gaints are out:p)

Hi Bobbie - I can't really be jealous about Marie's cruise, since I will be on one the week after they get back. Otherwise, I would have been on that one.

 

Mimi - It's not that easy being a group leader, but then again, its not all that hard either. All I have to do is ask Janet, Marie or Chelle for advise and they are always willing to help. Since this is Janet's second time around, she is the pro we all look to;).

Cathy p - since you and Kenny are retired, will you be able to stay up later then 9?:eek: lol

Kathy - its not that we forget what we have learned, we just choose not to remember! (its called old age or CRS disease).

Andrea - you and Lori did your part on the Dream cruise. I still remember Jello shots and Pudding shots:D. Take you time on the tour as we still have a year (but it will be here before ya know it). And speaking of NASCAR, ya'll should just jump onboard with Jimmy Johnson as you know that he is the best:cool:.

Lori - I remember bunk beds. Never enough room on the top to stand up! Don't work too hard.

Yeah Rich, I can see that it's a lot of work, but fun work. I'm thinking like 20 years down the line running a group cruise.
