As long as that is the norm, and not some special favor, then we are in! Andy agrees. We MUST wait until Nov 1st paycheck (which will arrive Oct. 29th)... great company that doesn't pay you over the weekend if the paycheck is due on the weekend, they pay you prior to that date... Anyway, we will contact Johnna in the next week and get this booked. I am just worried about where we may be living in Feb. 2012 and may have to change plans. I doubt it would really affect our vacation choices, but still, why throw money away today?

Group Travel is so much fun

These guys are great, you will love it.

The Motto we all have as Leaders, at least, the ones I know

"It is your Vacation, do as much or as little as you want with the group..."

What ever it is that makes this cruise the Best Cruise Ever, is what we want you to do!

Let me also say, do not try to do everything as it wears you out

On my last Group cruise (As a Leader and having my DH with me) I did not try to do every little thing :)

and it made for a better cruise for me and the DH I am sure.

But with these guys, it is hard not to want to get involved in as much as possible...

So I guess I will see if I follow my own advice on this cruise too.

Anything around there for a 13 and 7 1/2 year old for Halloween.

I called the place we were staying but they have nothing planned.

I heard last year the police did a Trunk or Treat...

Any ideas.

We will be at the Polo Towers, where ever that is,

and I will be driving down, so we will have Transportation.

The kids will love it! A friendly note: It is cooler in Vegas during that time of year, so you might want to bring some type of long sleeves.

Well we will be having all kinds of Peeps with us, we have 6 rooms of Family going.

From different areas of the states.

Some will be feeling the coolness, and some will be saying how warm it is :p

Steelerjan - Welcome to the board. As Marie said, you need to book before Oct 29 in order to get the reduced deposit (you can book the crusie for a reduced rate of $25 per person) and our group rate. Nov 1 Carnival will discountine both the reduced deposits and group rates. At that time you will have to pay Carnival's prevailing rates (at this time they are about $100 more per person). And as she stated there is so much to do with a group. Like I say "you can do as much as you want, but you can't do it all" while on a cruise and this holds even more true with a group. Another advantage of booking with a group is the $100 OBC. So, with all that said, call or email Johna and book this cruise. And once you do, let us know so that we can put ya'll on this list. At that time you can start planning your cruise and join the group activites. You won't be sorry!

Rich, good info to know about Johna being out of the office. Uhhhh, now I'm a bit scared and I should probably post this in the Looney thread, but there are so many people overlapping...

 

We have the Oct. 15 final payment due. Will Johnna automatically be handling this even out of the office? She has our card on file and has been processing biweekly payments for us. But we still have roughly $300 due on the 15th.

 

I don't see why Carnival would care too much if the payments went through on the 18th since the cruise is far from being sold out as prices have not skyrocketed (at least for our class OV).

 

Ok well can't stress about it now. I'm sure we'll still be Looneys, I mean, they can't fault us when the TA is out of the office right? Or am I completely wrong and contact should Carnival immediately?

 

Thank you for any help, and I apologize that this is Looney business, but the Looneys were the ones who got me over here, so at least Rich doesn't mind the word of mouth advertising and assistance for both groups. :D

Cru con asks for the final payments before Carnival requires it, I think by a week or two.

Trust me Poofy, the payment will be made. Other people probably help her process payments. And it could even be automated on the computer. Thats probably why they want you to notify them 2 weeks before the last payment is due if you want a different credit card used for the final payment. :D
