Island Princess - Panama Canal

Hello to anyone that has sailed the Island Princess through Panama! We are sailing in February and I am wondering about the Panama Canal. Is this a port where you get off or do we just cruise through it? We will be in D703. Anyone have any input on the "vista suite with balcony"? Thank you
