Inspiration Water Works question

Bibble

Recommended Posts

I just did the virtual tour of the Inspiration water works. It "looks" like there is a little round wooden deck in the splash area.

Can anyone confirm that? Can you put a chair there to stay cool while the kids play around?

Not important, really, just a fun question :)

Thanks so much for that picture! It’s bigger than the virtual tour makes it look.

Now, I’m trying to place perspective of this picture – What is that blue bar across the whole picture and then the wading-pool-looking area below it? I can’t tell if you step up over that bar, or if the picture was taken behind a bar.

Thanks for humoring me, as I’m sure this is one of the sillier posts today!!

Forget it - I just found another picture (must not have googled very well before - and I see that the blue thing is the slide - LOL!)

Nothing silly at all! That blue bar is the little wall for the shallow pool for the splash zone...

Wait, was water supposed to fill that play area? When we were on the Inspiration, it wasn't filled at all. Just water spraying, that's all. Weird.

Yep... it sure did. The water would squirt up out of jets in the deck and the little curb thingy kept it in...

That would help reduce the amount of people in the one and the only pool on the ship! The floor of the play area was bone dry (except around spraying area) in scorching July/August sun... so basically people flocked to the pool instead.

Edit: Oh only half of the spray jets were working.

I'm hoping my daughter has fun there. I plan to just sit in the water and have the bar waiter come to me :)

I dunno how much water there will be...probably enough to twiddle your toes in....

....but after the waiter brings you a Fun Ship Special or three, you won't care! :D:D
