Push or Pedal bikes distinguish bicycles from mopeds, if you are calling for a reservation.

 

Just curious, where are you planning on riding your bicycle? The roads are very narrow and while traffic usually yields to the bicyclist it can be very heavy depending on time of day. Not to mention the hills..:eek:

Bicycles can be used on the Bermuda Railway Trail http://www.bermuda-attractions.com/bermuda2_000036.htm ; there is a map here - http://www.bermudarailway.net/now/trailfaq/trailfaq.html

 

Assuming you are at the Dockyard, the trail can be picked up at Beacon Hill Rd, Somerset Island. That section (Section #1) of the trail is rated as 'Easy'. Then continue on to Section #2.....

Thanks for the info. Now one more question. Does anyone know if we can bring our own pedal bikes onboard the ship?

There are posts on various boards regarding bringing a bicycle onboard. My suggestion is to call the cruise line to confirm and ask for permission (if granted) to be sent in writing and bring a copy just in case.

 

Just remember you would have to keep it in your cabin and unless it is a collapsable travel bike, they could be a tight fit!

We wanted to bring our bikes on the Summit, but we were told that we couldn't when I called the cruise line.
