Comedian Dave Heenan

How can we find out which ships he'll be on this winter? We enjoyed both his comedy and singing and would like to see him again this winter.

You might try asking him on Facebook. He is fairly active there.

 

But, for the most part he has had a long running relationship with the Dawn.

Saw Dave twice and ate with him and the CD on the Dawn a few years ago!:D Funny dude!:eek:

That would have to be Dave and John Ibrahim. A friendly good fun pair. John is no longer on the Dawn I'm not sure about Dave. I had many laughs with them both. had dinner with them at Le bistro, the jazz brunch and the captains dinner.

I thought Dave Heenan was a funny man that did not have to resort gutter humor or dropping f-bombs to be funny. Even his adult show was not over the top in terms of language. Is it ground breaking humor? No. Have I heard some of his jokes before? Yes. But he was entertaining. He was a less dirty Buddy Hackett.

 

And he’s a nice guy. One afternoon in the spa locker room he broke into a 10 minute monologue for me and a couple of guys. He was not prompted by us at all. He just started telling jokes.

 

I hope he is on the Dawn next February.

He was on the gem this past may 2011 but was on dawn last jan 2010
