dfmeeks Posted September 5, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2011 Anyone know the website for the pier in NOLA? The Triumph is late sailing in & I want to watch her arrive. Thanks!

cio541 Posted September 5, 2011 #6 Share Posted September 5, 2011 Fantastic! Thanks! We're going to be sailing on The Triumph in March out of Galveston so I'm dying to see her sail in. Am watching as the ship goes under that bridge. Is the bridge high enough? Wow must be a very close clearance, it almost looked as if the boat sunk down a bit? Rare starstruck05 Posted September 5, 2011 #8 Share Posted September 5, 2011 NOLA cruise ships don't go under the bridge. I think because the bridge is too low but at one time it was becanse of the powerlines. They turn at the bridge to go out to the gulf. Its pretty cool to watch (even better to see ON the ship)

dasmonkey Posted September 6, 2011 #10 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Also you look at her on Rivercam and Bridgecam. http://www.nola.com/bridgecam Dave Tonight is a good chance to check out the Triumph in New Orleans. Obviously unusual for her to be in port at night. She is scheduled to sail around 11 PM CST per the Carnival web site. You can see the Triumph in port now from the above bridgecame that Dave linked. Once she turns around and starts down the river you can switch to the "Mississippi River" cam which is on the right in that same window under "playlist". Rare mitsugirly Posted September 7, 2011 #11 Share Posted September 7, 2011 I watched the camera on the Spirit today and watched her turn around and head out. That was pretty neat. I'm getting really excited for this sunday to come. :)
thescot123 Posted September 7, 2011 #12 Share Posted September 7, 2011 Below are some live images of the port where you can watch the Spirit. These cameras are live and auto refresh. Watched the Spirit leave N.O after being delayed by TS Lee. These poor folks will miss 2 days and won't be going to Belize or Roatan. View of Port http://www.nola.com/bridgecam/# View of river, you can see the Spirit make this turn when leaving http://www.nola.com/rivercam/#
