We went from a ocean view on the 2 deck to a balcony on the 7th deck one the Triumph for 300.00/ 7 night cruise. This is our first cruise and a balcony just sounded so nice! Are the rooms nice?? The room number is in the 7300's.

You will love the 7th deck! Easy access to everything.

You'll love it. You're midships and have passenger cabins above and below so the noise level will be very low.

Being midships your cabin will be convenient to elevators fore and aft making it easy to get about the ship.

I'm sure you'll have a fabulous time.

If the $300 was the total for the cabin for the entire 7 days then yes, that is a really good move. That deck has nothing but other cabins above and below so there won't be any public area noise filtering into your cabin. Plus, unless you've had a balcony previously, you'll find the balcony is the only way to go from here onward. ;)

We were in 6368 when we were on the Triumph and had a great cabin. Since you are one deck above where we were, you should have a great time. Have a great cruise. BTW, you can call room service for coffee and danish early in the am and enjoy them while watching the sun rise or watching the ship cruise into port.

Just want to add that we LOVE deck 7... two decks below the Lido Deck and 2 decks above the Promenade... There is a reason they put the suites on that deck! :) Hope you LOVE your balcony!
