Drive to Paradise Point

The road to Paradise Point starts next to Al Cohen's Mall- to the left if you are facing the mall, almost behind Shipwreck Tavern. The road is rather narrow and curvy. My question for you is how comfortable are you driving on the left on a curvy narrow road? Aot of tourists don't realize what the roads ars like on St. Thomas. Parking is limited.

If you are just interested in going up there for the view and not all the other stuff going on ( you can get a decent Bushwacker in most bars) I would suggest going to the Scenic Overlook on Skyline Dr. The view there is higher than Paradise Point. On a clear day you can see all the way to St Croix to the South and Puerto Rico to the West.

Ok, No problem. After you leave Secret Harbor you're going to come back to Redhook Rd. and to a traffic light. You can make a right or a left. Make a right towards Red Hook. Go through Red Hook, the road becomes Smith Bay Rd. Follow Smith Bay Rd. till you come to Rt. 42., make a right on Rt. 42. 42 becomes Rt 40. This is Skyline Drive. Follow Skyline Drive for about a mile. The Scenic Overlook will be on your left. Usually some vendors there to sell stuff. View is amazing and free.

To get back to the ship, make a left and follow Skyline Drive till it insects with Rt 35. Mafolie Rd. Make a left and follow the road down till you get to the bottom. You'll pass Black Beards Castle on the way down. Follow the signs for Rt 35. At the light should be the jail on your left and the parking lot for Ft. Christian on the right. Make the left and follow the Long Bay Rd back to the ship and I am assuming the car rental near by.

Remember when driving: KEEP LEFT!
