Phoenix Rising Posted September 9, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2011 I have just purchased 100 shares in RCL, which entitles me to an onboard credit on my next cruise with Royal. I'm wondering if I am also entitled to the Onboard Booking Credit (OBC) when next I book, or is the Stockholder one not combinable with the OBC. Any help much appreciated. PR. teamfour Posted September 9, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2011 From the RCL Investor website: Benefit is not combinable with other onboard credit offers, general loyalty offers, “dollars off” promotions and savings certificates. Guests have the option to choose between the shareholder benefit or the other offer.
Rare silentbob007 Posted September 9, 2011 #3 Share Posted September 9, 2011 Almost nothing is combinable with stockholder OBC. You cannot use onboard booking, balcony discounts, coupons, etc. The only things combinable are TA-given OBC and BOA RCI Visa OBC.
Phoenix Rising Posted September 10, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted September 10, 2011 Thank you very much fellow posters for your info'. Apparently not worth the trouble to purchase RCL stock for the cruise benefits. Anyone want some cheap shares? I'm glad I prefer Princess, at least they do reward stockholders, not penalise them! PR.
