SS Leeward

Does anybody know about the NCL Leeward. That was our honeymoon cruise. What an experience. 700 passengers and 400 of them were Brazilian teenagers. The TA told us this was a ship for honeymooners. Worst week of my life!!!!! I vowed to never go on a small ship again.

She was a ship that was chartered by NCL and passed from the NCL fleet to NCL's parent company Star Cruises and sailed as the SuperStar Taurus, then a couple of years ago the charter was terminated and she went back to her owners Silja Line and is currently sailing as the Silja Opera... http://www.silja.fi/FLEET/Silja%20Opera/

That is too funny! I wonder if we were on the same cruise! It was the 2nd cruise I was on, and there were more teenagers on this ship than I could've ever imagined! It was back in 1994. I have never sailed on NCL since then......we did have a lot of fun, but I have to say it was the worst cruise I have ever taken!
