Need Fast Help re Mazatlan! Kayaking?

Hi All,

 

We are on the Diamond Princess and heading to Mazatlan. We had reserved the excursion to Deer Island and kayaking, but it was cancelled. Has anyone had any experience with any of the companies that might be able to accommodate us at the last minute? Will there be people at the pier offering services, and, if so, does anyome have a recommendation? We'd like to either kayak or bike. We're not interested in horseback riding or sitting on a beach.
