cruisecop2006 Posted September 18, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2011 First time Norwegian Cruisers asking advise on going with connecting balcony cabins or the family suite on the Norwegian Star. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Pokeraddict Posted September 18, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2011 There is a another thread going on about opening balcony dividers between cabins (try next page) apparently they are not opening them anymore due to fire hazard.

I don't believe the issue is fire hazard. It is more of a physical safety issue as in the door slamming on someone or slamming and breaking the partition glass. rvsullivan Posted September 19, 2011 #4 Share Posted September 19, 2011 OP did not seem to be asking about opening balconies, but connecting balcony cabins or selecting a family suite. OP, it would help if you could tell about the group that is going to be sharing. Either one could be a good choice depending on the situation. Of course a suite is going to get you the suite perks which is pretty nice.
