Change of airport or change of airlines?

... but NZ needs to update their USA website.
The US website is up-to-date: http://www.airnewzealand.com/checked-in-baggage#longhaul-international-travel.

The only reference I can find with a Google search to a 140 lb allowance are on other people's sites, not the airline's.

I agree about the possibility for a glitch on two tickets, but if there's a 6-hour connection time, the chances are much reduced. Still, better to have a single ticket to make it a true connection.

Totally agree w/u Globaliser--one ticket--price is "good"--still outrageous, but if they were codeshares, then I'd say it's a go. I don't like 2 separate tix either. Inbound had a 2:20 layover....If it was a codeshare....

Thanks to everyone who answered and enlightened me on all this stuff....
