Splendor Formal Nights -which?

Trying to pick a night to book for the Steakhouse on the Splendor, but don't want it to be a formal night (we prefer to dine in the MDR). This is for the Mexican Riviera sailing on Oct. 2. Thinking formal nights will be 10/3 and 10/7. Any input? Thanks! :D

I'll be joining you guys too! My first time on the Splendor, 2nd time on a Carnival cruise, 4th time cruising....can't believe it's in less than 2 weeks! EEEEKKKKK! Can't wait! :)
