The Pillars or The Atlantic Resort?

So, I was all set to book The Pillars for our 2 nights pre cruise stay...but now I have an internet special for The Atlantic for $130 less!

 

I love the look of both hotels, but is one in a better location than the other? Any other reasons I should pick one over the other?

 

I also posted this on the Fort Lauderdale FAQ thread, but since my sale ends tomorrow I would love to have as much input as I can get! ;)

I'm so jealous. Is this the SA special? If only it were available for 2012, as well, I would buy it.

Location is subjective. The Atlantic is right across the street from the beach but is a further walk to anything (one mile to Las Olas Blvd). The Pillars is 2 blocks from the beach but is closer to the restaurant/bar area (half mile to Las Olas Blvd). The Atlantic is fancier and has a higher level of service. They are both good choices.

Oooh The Pillers for sure. Much more romantic and boutique than the Atlantic. I love both but for me I like smaller and quiet and quaint.
