Anyone know how to get to the Oceanaruim and Expo 98 site in Lisbon ? Is it far from the docks ? Would a taxi be reasonable ?

The Oceanarium and Expo 98 is along the river, a couple miles far from where ships dock. If you like a good walk, you will enjoy it for sure. Otherwise bus is probably the cheapest option. A taxi will be less than 10 Euros for sure.

Thanks Frank. A taxi seems best bet as we have 2 children aged 8 and 10 with us - don`t want tired legs before we get there!

Yes, children change everything. It would be a very long walk for them. They sure will love the Oceanarium, specially the main tank with the sharks! However the atracction right now is a baby seal. It's only a few days old and it's very cute.
