Georgetown laws re: food from ship

We brought some food on shore on almost any excursion we did as we did not want to wait for lunch to be served...there were no obvious restrictions. Most longer excursions include food, but we are early birds and get hungry again before lunch time ;)

Just my two cents worth...... not telling anyone what or what not to do, but we tried this a few years ago in Cayman. There was actually a guy asking each person as they went through the line,if they had any food in their backpacks. Being an honest person, I said yes, and was informed that it was not allowed, and that we must discard it in the trash receptacle there in line. Based on the large number of uneaten(usually still sealed) food items in the trash can, several people must have had the same idea as me. He never asked to look in our bags, but just asked if we had anything. I probably could have lied and kept on going. Again..... not telling anyone what or what not to do. You may make your own moral decisions. :) Happy cruising!
