NOLA streetcars

I'm looking for some help figuring out the streetcar schedule. I found a few maps showing the routes but I am wondering how often they stop. We are hoping to use them to get around NOLA as we wont have a car. Plus they look fun to ride!

The Street Cars are fun, a day pass cost $3 and you can take all of the routes get on and off when you wish, bus transfers are also available. Not sure how convenient you will find them for getting around, depends a lot on where your staying.

NOLA is an easy walking city.

We rode them a few weeks ago just because we wanted the experience and to save we've actually been on one.

 

THEY WERE JAM PACKED FULL. Standing room only and so packed that people were standing up front, on the steps where you get on and off as well. It was kind of difficult to stand there with no room and not much to hold on to because everyone else was in the way and then trying to help our 3 year old stand up as well.

 

Just warning ya...:)

You would probably only use them to take a ride up to the Garden District. Everything else you will want to experience would be better done on foot in the French Quarter.
