Inaugural or not, I'm just damn happy to be going. Ron Pass in the Piano Bar, Timmy Pierce in the Red Frog Pub and some of my favorite peeps on the ship. Should be a good time.

I'm sure they will leave Ron on the inaugural...they want to be able to hype it up all they can, ya know! If you're a roll call kinda guy, go post in the regular roll call and the Official Group roll call (we welcome everyone in there) and get a head start getting to know everyone...it's a huge group! Between the 2, there are probably over 150!:eek::D

yes.

 

He did a few songs OK, but there were a lot of requests of standard bar songs that his response was "I'll have to look that one up". His singing wasn't great on the ones he did know. Even the bar staff wished Seth was back in there as previous cruises were dead because no one hung around. I only spent enough time in there for one drink because he didn't know much to play.

We were on the Legend in April with Alan and thought he was great. We went to the Piano bar every night. His piano playing is terrific and he knows most of the songs you want to hear. He is British, and has that dry sarcastic sense of humor, but I appreciate that.

I just sailed on the Breeze, and all you Ron Pass fans are correct...he is great! I was a little leery because from some of his posts here, he sounded almost a bit arrogant. During one of our chats after the piano bar closed, I told him that. Like he said...and I do agree with him...its easy to be mis-interpreted online because you can't hear the tone/inflection in the written word. But after spending almost every night of a 12 night cruise in the piano bar and talking to him after the piano bar closed, I discovered that he is not at all as he sometimes sounded on these boards. He was very humble and pleasant. He is a great performer and I wish him well during his summer off from Carnival.

 

 

Ron...if you are reading this, hello from your "Sugar Mama"....LOL:) (I was the one with the two daughters (one blonde, the other redhead) and I hung out with Carolyn). Enjoy your summer!

I had been sitting on this one because Jordan just got engaged and his fiancee just told me that he has been having some immigration issues (Jordan is Canadian, his fiancee American). She asked me to hold off until the 14th so they could be sure there wouldn't be a problem, but if John is putting it out there... Jordan will be on the Legend until November 18th.
