FLL airport to Miami Conrad....on a Sunday???

I have been attempting to schedule ground transportation for our arrival on Sunday, 10/9. Our flight gets in at 10am. Every ground transportation company I have contacted is not running until way after our arrival. I would rather not use the GO shuttle at the airport. Any suggestions?? I am even open to a private car, etc. Please help! Need to make a reservation...the more affordable, the better! :D

At that time of th emorning the shuttle companies are busy bringing passengers from POM back to FLL.

 

Larry's Limos has been suggested on these boards for Miami service; one previous quote for MIA to FLL area had him at $70+20% tip = $84, so the same range as a cab, but a much nicer ride.

 

You might also call the Conrad to see if they can suggest someone for car/limo service, or if there is a car rental office nearby (Avis, Hertz & Enterprise are in downtown MIami, but I am not sure if they are close to your hotel) that would work for you. Drop your family and bags at the hotel, then return the car before checking in so as to avoid the steep parking fees! :eek:
