travelninja Posted September 29, 2011 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Hi fellow cruisers!! I was notified that i had posted the original message in the wrong place. Please, if someone can give me advice, i'd really be grateful. Thanks!! I've never been to NY and i'm going on the Royal Caribbean to Bermuda in October. I have a group of 10 people and i'm trying find the best way to get from JFK, (we already booked the flight to JFK rather than Newark because we plan on staying in Manhattan for a few days following), to Cape Liberty. Some of our team are elderly but also on a budget. I don't want them having to walk too much with their heavy luggage. What would be the best way to get to Cape Liberty from JFK. We arrive 6am. I've contacted a few shuttle companies who said they couldn't accommodate. Thanks everybody for your advice!!
njhorseman Posted September 30, 2011 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2011 You didn't say which shuttle services you contacted, but Go Airlink appears to be able to accommodate your party based on a test booking I did on their Web site: http://www.goairlinkshuttle.com/ . You can also try Dial 7 at http://www.dial7.com , and Carmel limo at http://www.carmellimo.com . I'm sure it's too late to change your airline tickets, but FYI, should you ever make this trip again, not only is Newark Airport a lot closer to Cape Liberty than JFK, but it's also closer to Manhattan than JFK, so EWR would have been a good choice (assuming airline ticket prices were about the same) for both segments of your trip, particularly given the large group you have to transport. travelninja Posted September 30, 2011 Author #3 Share Posted September 30, 2011 Thanks, Ill remember that. JFK was a pretty big nonrefundable error.
