Casino "Drinks on Us" Card

According to Micheal the spoksperson for the Carnival players club.....The " Drinks on US " promotion applies to all cruises 7 days and longer. All other Cruises are on the old system.

They had it on the 5 day Carnival Destiny cruise August 8th and I "hit it" on the 3rd night...

How much did you estimate you spent before you got it??

That's obviously not the point since it would be pretty foolish to "chase" comps like the drink card. But......if someone is going to gamble anyway it's nice to get the "drinks on us" cards :D

They also had it on the 5 night Destiny sailing on Sept 10.

Maybe Michael from the CCL players club should update the information.....

You can't really calculate it that way since each point is equal to $2.50 cash in which includes the money you put in and the credits the machine is paying you.

I can put a 20 in a machine and play for a long time and accumulate 100+ points. In general I take $100 per day to play with and I'm usually at the 1000 point mark and get my 1st $10 cash back by noon of the 1st full day on the ship.

It used to be the casino pit-boss or the csino host would buy you a drink every night if you were in the casino ..but with the "drinks on us" program that usually does not happen...I asked a casino host to buy me a drink on the Triumph and she laughed at me.....I just spent less time and money in the casino after that....Dennis

I am not sure of the actual way that it is calculated but I can tell you that I started with $40 of my own money but won $180 twice on a penny machine and kept playing with that money... So while yes, I put in over $300 in the machines (which I would have done out of pocket if I had not won....ANOTHER STORY IN ITSELF... HELLOOOO GAMBLERS ANNOYMOUS!!!) I really only lost $40... before getting the card
