How do time zones work in Mexico? Is it all one time zone? Is Acapulco and Puerto Vallarta in the same time zone? How does it work?

PV and Aca are in the Central Time zone.

The folowing are rough time zone separations:

Upper Baja California is Pacific Time and lower Baja is Mountain Time.

Mountain Time extends from AZ/NM stateline to about 6 miles north of PV.

The rest of Mexico is Central Time.

Thanks for the info on time change in Mexico. Arizona and Hawaii do not change time in the USA. To make it more confusing in AZ, the Indian Reservations change time while the rest of the state is on Standard Time.

Sorry, only the states in Mexico that are on CST are the ones that change to -5 GMT, Guerrero, Mexico City, Veracruz, are a few; the rest Í'm not really sure what time, in reference to GMT, they change.
