Bead Shops?

Betty's Needle Crafts in St Georges has beads, sometimes.....

Quija, which is located in the Walker Arcade in Hamilton, is another place to consider trying. This is the shop a lot of the makers of Gombey capes tend to use so you may find some beads there as well.

Please note that the jewelry makers on the island tend to import their beads themselves as the selection here is pretty poor. What you'll get here won't be any different from what you can get from somewhere like Fire Mountain, however, you'll pay a lot more for it!

Hope this helps...

You might want to check the thread on Dockyard Sea Glass Beach, where my wife (an avid beader) picked up a jarful of green, purple, blue and white glass pieces for jewelry-making when we visited in September. It's an easy walk from the ships (or very short bus ride) and would be a unique way to remember your trip.
