Snorkel & Beach Curacao

My Mom and I will have one day in Curacao on Princess cruise in February. I want to snorkel, and I want to go somewhere with a nice beach that my mom could relax that offers a chair and an umbrella. The ideal place would also have some shopping, but snorkeling is the priority. Suggestions??

When we went to Curacao a few years ago, we spent the morning at the Blue Bay Resort which has a nice beach, lounges, umbrellas, a restaurant, beach bar, and a pool. It also has good snorkeling. It has a good online website.

 

There is no shopping there and most of the shopping is right in Willemstad. So, we just went back to the ship for a late lunch and spent the afternoon walking around Willemstad seeing the shops and historic sites.
