Ft. Lauderdale Beach / Turnaround Day

We will be on a B2B on the Oasis and plan to go to a beach on Saturday for

turnaround day.

 

Can you suggest a good spot for the day and can we just walk from the ship to

the trolly pick up point or would we need to take a taxi from the ship?

 

Also if its not a good beach weather day, would you suggest taking the water taxi

for the day and where can we get that from Port Everglades?

you need a taxi..the pier area is HUGE and really not set up for walking...

 

you can flag down the sun trolley anyplace along its route

Terminal 18 is too far of a walk to 17th St where you can get the water taxi or Sun Trolley. It will cost you less than $10 to get to 17th St. For the water taxi have the driver take you to Hilton Marina under the bridge.

The water taxi does not start until 10:00. So don't leave the ship much before then. It does take over 2 hours to make the entire loop.
