Lethbridge1 Posted October 14, 2011 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2011 We are considering booking ocean view which is mid ship on Deck 7. These cabins are above the Casino. Has anyone stayed in these cabins and can you comment on noise from the casino?

Lethbridge1 Posted October 15, 2011 Author #4 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Thank you very much. Are there any more people who have experienced these ocean view cabins on the Marina.
JimandStan Posted October 15, 2011 #5 Share Posted October 15, 2011 We have not "lived" in an Ocean View Stateroom, but thanks to the kindness of some very generous Cruise Critics, we've spent a lot of time being entertained in one. They are spacious and very comfortable. In fact, aside from the new Owners Suites, which are now the size of Madonna's house in the Hamptons, we think that the Ocean View rooms are the biggest improvement yet, over the comparable rooms on the R ships. Those floor to ceiling windows make the room seem HUGE.
CintiPam Posted November 5, 2011 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2011 We stayed in an Oceanview cabin in June on our wonderful Baltic cruise and enjoyed it very much. We only experienced a noise problem one evening when Oceania had a jazz band playing where the piano is. (Our cabin was over Martini's piano bar, not the casino.) All was well when they stopped.
