Veranda Guarantee ?

Exploring our options for an upcoming cruise. Has anyone ever used the Veranda Guarantee? Were you happy with what cabin you were assigned? Royal Caribbean has the same option and if you are not happy with your 1st assigned cabin you can put your cabin "back in" and get assigned another. This is only allowed once...is that the same way for Disney?

I think there are only restrictions when it comes to last minute VGT bookings. I booked a 4A GTY on the Dream. We were assigned a 4A on deck 10 (can't remember which cabin). I didn't like the location so I asked my TA is there was anything available on deck 9. She checked, emailed me 4 cabins that were available & I switched. I don't know if that will work if you get an upgrade. I think since I originally booked a 4A & was switching to a 4A it worked out.

I'm not sure if you could switch if like in the OP case you booked a 6A GTY & got pixie dusted into a 5C.

In the cases on VGT you cannot change anything after they assign your cabin.
