PV - shops open until?

Hello -

 

Can anyone tell me how late the shops stay open and how late the vendors stay out in PV? I am thinking about doing a half-day excursion, but I want to make sure I will still have time to wander around the shops and vendors. Thanks!

On the Malecon boardwalk (Paseo Diaz Ordaz) they closed at 10pm local time (9pm ship time) when we were there 2 weeks ago, but those were just the tourist shops. But the good shopping in the local shops on Juarez and Morelos, 1 and 2 blocks off the boardwalk were dark as a tomb after dinner.
