Skype on at&t

Has anyone used skype on AT&T Samsung android galaxy s2 sgh i-777 . Other carrier info NOT needed.

Skype may or may not work on the ship.

The ship uses satellite for internet and the broadband width is very limited. Skype uses lots of bandwidth and some ships block VOIP.

On the ship think back to the 14.4 kbps dial up modem speed

is you are skyping on the cruise and using the 3g you will have to pay for the data charges and they will prob be more than just making the call using the ships wireless. Unless of course you are paying for internet on the sip and shutting off the data on the phone. Data is obscenely pricey at sea
