Embarkation Time in Miami for the Liberty?

After cruising on several other cruise lines, I am trying Carnival for the first time next month. I have seen that Carnival lists it's embarkation time in Miami as 12:30pm. How "written in stone" is the 12:30 Embarkation time in Miami? Do they let passengers board earlier if the ship is ready? It seems to differ with each line and each different port. Thanks in advance!

Each cruise debarkation is different as there are many variables that can enhance or delay the process. Most though report very good embarkation procedures in Miami. As an average I would say that by 12:00-12:15 full embarkation has begun.

We cruised from Miami several times and we always got on the ship between 11:20 and 12:00.

I will be in Miami this Saturday boarding the Liberty, I will post the time we get on.

OMG!..you get on the first sailing after dry dock....hope everything's finished for your cruise. We cruise the Liberty in 3 weeks so they should have any bugs ironed out :)
