Automatic Teller Machines are located on the Promenade Deck on all ships.

There is a $6.00 fee per transaction for this service.

Fee Notification: The operator of the ATM will charge a fee for a cash withdrawal. This charge is in addition to any fees that may be assessed by the guest’s financial institution. This additional charge will be added to the transaction amount and deducted from the guest’s account.

The daily withdrawal limit is $500.00.

Guests are able to withdraw funds and make balance inquiries on their checking and savings accounts while the ship is in port or at sea.

For questions or problems with the transaction, the guest needs to contact their financial institution directly.

Note: The supply of money may be depleted prior to the end of the cruise.

The ATM machines are operated and sponsored by one of the financial institutions listed below.

I know for a fact that I withdrew $600 in one transaction on the Triumph in February. I wonder if this changed or if it's just what they say is standard.

you can use the slot machines or free by using your sign and sail card.

I did this on our last cruise when the ATMs ran out of money. It's really easy (I'm not a gambler so I was unfamiliar with slot machines.) Just stick your SnS card into a slot machine. It will ask how much you want to authorize - I said I wanted $100.

I then played a round of slots, although I guess you don't have to, and lost about 25 cents.

I then took the card out of the slot machine and went to the cashier. He gave me the remaining $99.75 in cash. Sure beats paying the ATM fees :D

what are you using for your onboard account?

was planning to use my credit card ($420 limit) for sign and sail, not my debit card (only limit the amount in my checking account). if I need to can I change cards on my sign and sail durning the cruise?

I also got charged for the balance inquiries because of it being a foreign atm. 2 dollars for each inquiry... didnt know that....

A long time ago, the atm was out of cash on day 2 of a 7 day cruise...

I've never used them on the ship because of the obscene fees, but I thought they were through a bank in Florida. For some reason, I'm thinking the fee on that one was $7.50.

I suggest- use the card with the limit-- and towards the end-- go pay the cash that way your card will not be charged.

OR

if your cruise is a while away--place onboard credit each pay so that credit is prepaid. (its the only way I can cruise )

sorry if it has already been posted but I did not read through all the posts. But if you have you sail and sign linked to a credit card then just load some $$$ from you onboard account to your player bank at the slot machine. then cash out to your player bank. then go to the casino cage and get the cash from your player bank. Should be no charge to you at all.

When we were on the Monarch a fewonths ago, the ATM was not working. A guest relations employee told us it had not been working for the past three cruises. He then told us there was an ATM at the port in Nassau with lower fees. I plan to withdraw enough cash and use a debit card next time around. I have a checking account that I only use for vacations. I just notify my bank when I'm going out of the country so the don't think out of country purchases are fraudulent.

I plan to use the card wtih the limit...we sail nov 3rd so no time to build credit. am taking 500 cash, don't want to use my debit card except in an atm. while I would not pay the fees at home sometimes don't mind paying while traveling if im coming up short on the funds I want. was wanting to take 1000 cash with me. if spend it thats ok or if i don't then pay sign and sail at end of crush and not bill afterwards. was wanting to pull another 500 on friday when my paycheck hit as extra funds.

There is a login, and logout part. The logout part is really an important step. If you just take the card out and walk away, it is possible for a stranger to save the money to their card while you are in line at the cage.

If the credit card you are using to back your S&S card is a 'points card', they you will get points for the cash you take. Very cool.

This has changed on my last few cruises-- as soon as that card is taken out the money that is left on the machine automatically logs the money back to the card.

You cannot log in more money from the card with out the pin numbers
