nassau walking tour with a stroller?

We just got back from Nassau last Thursday. We sailed ont he Fascination. We tried to do the walking tour of Nassau with a wheelchair and it was unbelivable! Nassau is definately not a wheelchair friendly town. Now, a stroller may be different as it is more manuverable than a wheelchair (especially a heavy rented one) and you can pick it up with two people and move it around if necessary. But, on the whole it was a nightmare for us. Most of the ramps were blocked, and we had to go into the street which is very narrow. There are not ramps at every intersection and there are various places that we encountered trees coming up in the middle of the sidewalk or the sidewalk was crumbling. I would say if your stroller was light and manuverable then go for it. Otherwise, forget it. We did not even finish our tour as it was too much trouble.
