Olives

Does anyone know if you can bring a jar of olives onboard?

I like to make dirty martinis.

I cruise with friends who usually bring them in a ziploc bag or container and have had no problems. You could also take a ziploc and then get a plateful from the buffet and then fill your container. ;)

Most of all....enjoy and have fun! :)

Anyone care to clarify or veirfy this?

You can bring jars of unopened food on the ship?

We have always brought snacks and such with no problems. We usually bring a jar of pickled brussel sprouts and pickled asparagus for our bloody Mary's. Never had a problem. We put them in our carry on so they don't get broken.

Really? I'm not a fan of brussels sprouts but the pickled asparagus sounds interesting.

Although it isn't exactly the same as out of a jar...

In some states you can buy it in a liquor store, and also order it

online.

Just Google olive juice for sale.

Dirty Tonys I think is one brand I bought once.

It was relatively low priced, especially considering the number

of jars of olives you would have to buy to get the same amount of juice.

Don't forget to check locally too.
