Costa Maya Dune Buggy Safari and Beach

My girls and I will be on the NCL Star 12/18 and they really want to try the Dune Buggy Safari and Beach tour in Costa Maya. I've seen an older post about this tour but am wondering if anyone has done it recently and what it was like.

We are on the 1/1/12 NCL Star. My husband and daughter are also interested in this excursion, so info would be much appreciated.
